Peritiq - Usage and Credit Policy

This document outlines the specific usage limits, credit system, and operational policies for the Peritiq service ("Service"). It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.

1. Overview

The Peritiq platform operates on a usage-based model with the following key components:

• Subscription Plans: Define your access level, user seats, and monthly credit allocation.
• Credits: The currency for accessing premium Expert content (videos, templates, assessments).
• Usage Limits: Daily chat limits, storage limits, and other operational boundaries.

2. Operational Limits

All plans are subject to the following operational limits, which are designed to ensure fair use and platform stability:

• Daily Chat Limit: Each user has a maximum number of chat interactions per day. This limit resets at 00:00 UTC. Your specific limit is determined by your subscription plan. Note: Premium features consume multiple chats per interaction: Comparison (3), Idea Validation (4), Pitch Builder (4), and Customer Discovery (5).
• Document Storage (Pages): The total number of text-equivalent pages you can upload and store. Limits are pooled at the company/workspace level for Team plans.
• Media Storage (Minutes): The total duration of video content you can upload and store. Limits are pooled at the company/workspace level for Team plans.
• Supported File Types: The Service supports the following file types for upload:
  • Documents: PDF, DOCX, DOC, ODT, TXT, PPTX, PPT, ODP, XLSX, XLS, ODS
  • Media: MP4, WEBM, MOV (video); VTT, SRT (subtitles)
  • Images: PNG, JPEG, GIF, WEBP

3. Credit System (Expert Content Only)

Credits are the currency used to access our premium, expert-curated content library.

3.1. Credit Consumption

The following actions consume credits. Credit costs are subject to change (see Section 4). Current rates are:

• Use Online Self-Assessment: 25 Credits
• Download Checkup: 25 Credits
• Online tool: 25 Credits
• Watch Video: 10 Credits
• Download Template: 10 Credits
• Download Guide: 5 Credits
• Download Checklist: 5 Credits
• Download Image: 2 Credits

3.2. Credit Allocation, Expiration, and Stacking

We offer two types of credits, which are consumed in a specific order:

• 1. Subscription Credits (Monthly Allowance):
  • Allocation: Free (50/mo), Pro (200/mo), Team (250/mo, Pooled).
  • Expiration: These credits are an allowance. They are provided on your monthly billing date and expire at the end of your billing cycle. They do not roll over or accumulate.
• 2. Purchased Credits (One-Time Packages):
  • Allocation: Purchased in packs (e.g., 100 Credits).
  • Expiration: Purchased credits do not expire. They roll over indefinitely as long as your account remains active.
• Order of Consumption: The system will always consume your Subscription Credits first. Your Purchased Credits will only be used after your monthly allowance for the current cycle has been fully depleted.

3.3. Credit Terms & Conditions

• No Cash Value: Credits have no monetary or cash value and are not redeemable for cash.
• Non-Refundable: All purchased credits are final and non-refundable.
• Non-Transferable: Credits cannot be transferred between different Peritiq accounts.

4. Fair Use & Policy Changes

4.1. Fair Use Policy

Your use of the Service is subject to this Policy and our Terms of Service. We reserve the right to monitor usage and apply limits to prevent abuse, abnormally high consumption, or any use that negatively impacts the stability and performance of the Service for other users.

4.2. Right to Change

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify this Usage and Credit Policy at any time. This includes, but is not limited to, changing the credit consumption rates, plan limits, and supported file types. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website or by notifying you via email. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
